“I met Nate in 2017 when he was selected to participate in the McNair scholars program at UC Davis, he was my student and later became my neighbor and friend when I moved in the building next to him and his family. Nate always lit up the room with his infectious smile and positive energy. I have so many fond memories of him- always with his headphones- listening to great music and spreading happiness to everyone. Rest in power!”
