He was predeceased by: his parents, William Diggelen and Hermina Van Diggelen; his wife Corinne Ipema; and his sisters, Johanna Aikens, Hermina West and Margaret Wiegel.
He is survived by: his children, William Van Diggelen (Lori) and Catherine Van Diggelen; his grandsons, Eric (Lindsey), Andy (Jennifer), Alex Hoelter (Samantha Gajewski) and John Senk; his great grandchildren, Theron, Ainslie, Braxon, Cason, Amelia, Isla and Castiel; and his close friend Connie Hickman. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
