She was predeceased by: her parents, George Handrock and Emma Handrock; her husband Gene Unruh; and her nephew Orrin. She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Julie) and Scott (Denise); her grandchildren, Joseph, Edward, Bridget (Mike), Joshua (Michele), Lindsey (Daniel), Jelissa (Joshua) and Jacob (Emily); her great grandchildren, Ashton, Nevaeh, Ariah, Lucille and Landon; and her niece Karen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, Algonquin.
