Malcolm MacCoun Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2023, at the age of 95, Malcolm MacCoun in Algonquin, Illinois, born in Topeka, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Townsend MacCoun and Myrtle MacCoun; his son Thomas MacCoun; his stepson Christopher Dahlstrom; and his brother Townsend MacCoun (Rosemary).
He is survived by: his wife Cathryn MacCoun; his children, Catherine MacCoun, Ann Kantner (Lloyd) and Robert MacCoun; his stepchildren, Dana Ashmore, Stacy Connelly (Mark Metzner) and Tina Dahlstrom; and his sister-in-law Susan Williams (Victor). He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the new Memorial Garden at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 1700 Longmeadow Parkway, Algonquin, IL 60102.
