It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Vander Leest (Algonquin, Illinois), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Leest and Elizabeth Vander Leest; his wife Romaine Vander Leest; his children, Joel Vander Leest (Cheryl), Jill Hader (Michael) and Jay Vander Leest (Erin); and his siblings, Elizabeth Little (Alvin), Wayne and Bootsie. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
