With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Dougles Konitzer of Algonquin, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 23, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Beatrice Konitzer (Molly); his sister Kathleen Gillespie; and his brother-in-law John Gillespieand Donald Hipskind. He is survived by: his children, Fran (Hakim Mohaisen), Liz Kellogg, Doug Konitzer (Nancy), Chris Konitzer, Cathy Neuhalfen (Andy) and Jeanne Foote (Dennis); and his sisters, Mary Lou Jones (Bob) and Rita Jacks (Dick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
