It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Keiss (Algonquin, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Nickels and Helen Nickels (Berberich); her husband Howard J. Keiss; her sons, Keith Ellison (Jeanine) and Timothy Keiss (Nancy); her grandchildren, Kyle Ellison and Marilyn Keiss; and her brother Edward Nickels (late Karen).
She is survived by: her children, Howard Keiss (Linda), Kevin Ellison (Dawn), David Keiss, Kerry Ellison (Linda), Kirby Ellison (Cindy), Neil Keiss (Gerda), Karen Idle, Diane Berkowski (Albert) and Joanne; and her brother James Nickels (Kris). She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
