He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Reitz and Dorothy Reitz (Kozma); his brother Henry Reitz; and his stepdaughter Patricia Runchey. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Reitz; his daughter Lisa Frye (Marc); his grandchildren, Jenna, Jacob, Justin and Joshua; his son Loren Klein (Scott); his grandchildren, Evan, Sawyer and Elliot; his child Leslie Messagie (Michael); his granddaughters, Leah and Ella; his daughter Donna Lucas (Craig); his grandchildren, Erik, Ryan, Colin and Grace; his sons, Robert and Daniel Murphy; his siblings, Ronald Reitz (late Barbara) and Shirley Kerley (late Raymond); his sister-in-law Jackie Reitz; and also, Jessica and Sarah Runchey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
