She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen, and Ruth Allen, Sr.; her husband Leonard Zurek; her brothers, James Allen, Jr. and William Allen; and her close friend Nancy Bessert.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Cooley, Michael Cooley (Debbie) and Richard Cooley (Rebecca Nellessen); and her cousin Gloria Levine. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, and her 6 great-grandchildren.
