It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn M. Gahlbeck (Algonquin, Illinois), born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on May 18, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Peters and Nellie Peters; her husband Howard Gahlbeck; her children, William and Thomas; and her daughter-in-law Brenda.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Gahlbeck, James Gahlbeck and Connie Srebranig (Steven); her grandchildren, Zachary, Mitchell (Stefanee), Nicholas, Jaci, Jonathan and Haylee; her great grandchildren, Madison and Khloe; her daughters-in-law, Stacy Gahlbeck and Jenni Gahlbeck; and her sister Lois Trkula. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
