She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hudzik and Josephine Hudzik (Lelito); her husband Robert "Bob" Wawak; and her brother James Hudzik. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Wawak (Fran Cosentino) and Ronald Wawak (Jose Baena).
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Zachary Catholic Church (567 W Algonquin Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60018). A reception was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery.
