She was predeceased by: her parents, Cesar Daniel and Maria Abigail Salazar (Merino); her husband Agustin G. Velasco; and her brothers, Julio Salazar and Luis Salazar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Doris Velasco-Gronseth (Kurt) and Alexzandra Velasco-Anderson (Troy); her grandchildren, Brian Gronseth (Dana), Jennifer Chirchirillo (Dylan), William Anderson and Abigail Anderson; and her great grandchild Jason.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Willow Funeral Home (1415 W Algonquin Rd, Algonquin, IL 60102). A prayer will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Monica Catholic Church (90 N John F. Kennedy Dr, Carpentersville, IL 60110).
