He was predeceased by: his wife Agnes; his grandchild McKinley; and his siblings, Albert Backer and Virginia Vacho. He is survived by: his children, Michael Backer (Colleen) and Mary Fackler (Dave); and his grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Brian, Kylee, Brogan, Rorey, Andrew, Adam and Allison.
