With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Sherman Hubbard of Algonquin, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Hubbard and Bessie Hubbard (Blythe); and his siblings, Dwight, Lowell, Raymond, Byard and Lola Mannhardt.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Opie of Algonquin; his children, Dick Hubbard (Robin) of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Kathy Owen (Brad) of Stillman Valley, Illinois; his grandchildren, Matthew Hubbard (Kelly), Sarah Schulman (Ben), Zachary Owen (Andrea) and Meghan Owen-Souza (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Gretchen, Ava Hubbard, Harry, Goldie and Franny Schulman.
Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church (DOC) of Carthage.
