He was predeceased by: his father Amos Smith; his wife Lynn E. Smith (Beeskow); and his granddaughter Madison Noel Gerber. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Smith (Dill); his children, Tim Smith (Gretchen) and Jennifer Gerber (Garrett Meyer); his grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Jason Gerber, Marissa Gerber and Nathan Gerber; his great grandchildren, Lenynn and Lydia; and his brothers, Terry Smith (Suzie) and Glen Smith (Darla).
