It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty May Podlin of Algonquin, Illinois, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Eaton and Flora Eaton (Lashbrook); her brother Ernest Eaton Jr.; her husband Walter A. "Wally" Podlin; and her son-in-law Chris Mehaffey.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Podlin (Rheta Murdaugh), Tim Podlin (Denise), Teresa Mehaffey, Tina McMahon (Kevin) and Todd Podlin (Robbin); her grandchildren, Vicki, Eric, Ryan (Kyra), Joseph, John (Alyssa), Brian, Tamya and Javaree; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Kaedyn.
