It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Ruth McAvoy (Algonquin, Illinois), who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband James Elmer McAvoy; and her children, James McAvoy (Margarita), Timothy McAvoy (Maria), Mary Schultz (Phillip), Patrick McAvoy (Betsy), Alice McAvoy and Bridget White (Brian).
In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the National Parkinson's Foundation (http://www.parkinson.org) was Alice Ruth's preference.
