He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hartz and Edith Hartz (Lichleiter); his son Kenneth Steven Hartz; his grandson Steven; and his siblings, Jeanne Hartz, Joseph Hartz and Donald Hartz.
He is survived by: his wife Doris M. Cash; and his children, Freddy Joseph Hartz (Norma), Randy Lee Hartz (Tina) and Julie Mae Kirby (Jay). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 requirements and restrictions a private family service will be held.
