It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Olson of Alexis, Illinois, born in Monmouth, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Olson and Norma Jean Olson (Rankin); and his brother Thomas Olson. He is survived by: his wife Denise Olson of Alexis; his son Patrick Olson (Jennifer Henkel) of Orion, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Olson and Brayden Olson; and his siblings, Dennis Olson (Julie) of Alexis, Gary Olson of Alexis, David Olson (Paula) of Alexis, Randy Olson (Tammi) of Alexis, Marjorie Olson (Dermot Hagen) of Delaware, Barbara Olson (Steve Lair) of Alexis and Terry Faust of Colorado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Quad-Cities Honor Flight and sent to the funeral Home.
