It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Lafferty (Alexis, Illinois), born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Sr. Lafferty and Hazel Lafferty (Nelson); and his son Gary "Butch" Lafferty of Alexis. He is survived by: his wife Carole Anderson; his daughter-in-law Susie Lafferty of Aledo; his grandchildren, Jenny McKeown (Trent), Justin Lafferty (Angie), Janelle Duckwiler (Eric), Erin Lafferty, Amber Davis (David) and Andy Lafferty; and his brothers, Ted (Barb) and Dick Lafferty (Margie). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Alexis Fire Dept., Alexis United Presbyterian Church and/or the Alexis Veterans Memorial.
