It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Corbin of Alexis, Illinois, born in Steffenville, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Corbin and Madeline Walker; his wife Betty Anderson; and his granddaughter Rachel Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Corbin of Alexis, Roger Corbin (Connie) of Roseville, David Corbin (Colleen) of Galesburg, Debra Peterson (Michael) of New Windsor, Gena Alcorn of Galesburg and Bonnie Aden of Alexis; and his grandchildren, Hayley Corbin, Jesse Corbin, Bethany Leary (Nick), Savanah Teague (Zack), Josiah Corbin, Kristine Devlin (Zachary), Nathan Alcorn, Matthew Alcorn, Holly VonKannon (Ryne) and Bryce Aden (Jasmine). He is also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be private. Social distancing and masks required within the funeral home.
