Carol Bridges Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Bridges (Alexis, Illinois), born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ernest and Abigail Irene Shannon (McCormick); her husband Wilmer L "Jack" Bridges; and her siblings, Verla Pruett and Lee Shannon.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Bridges (Fern) of Alexis, Steve Bridges (Doreen) of Alexis and Pam Bridges of Galesburg; and her siblings, Mary Reeves of Alexis, Willie Heflin of Galesburg, Stan Shannon (Linda) of Alexis, Ansel Shannon (Pat) of Burlington, IA., Rodney Shannon (Marilyn) of Effingham and Dyson Shannon (Leona) of East Galesburg. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
Due to social distancing limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Carol Bridges Memorial Fund.
