He was predeceased by: his wife Stella Mae Serven; and his siblings, Don Whitacre, Mike Whitacre and Joan O'Doneld. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Lovett (Don) of Oquawka, Joyce Hoffacker (Paul) of Oquawka and Carol Vancil; his brother Arthur Whitacre of Bradenton, Florida; and his grandchildren, Melissa Chizman (Richard), Chris Vancil, Mark Stegall, Sherry Rhoades (Dave), Jenifer Carlisle (Ben) and Dan Kemp (Amanda). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made in Willard's memory St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
