Frew of Aledo, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert George. He is survived by: his mother Melba Aletta Jean Frew of Sherrard; his siblings, Gregory of Sherrard, James of Sherrard, David of Sherrard and Julie Dean of Viola; and his niece Stephanie (Brad Williams) of Aledo. He is also survived by other seven nieces, three nephews, four great-nieces, and ten great-nephews.

“Dick and I are so sorry to here of Steve's passing. He was our good friend and we loved him so much. he has always so loving and caring to us. We will miss him, sorry we didn't get over to see him more, because he was so lonely, but our lives have been busy. He we did see him he was so happy to see us. He was thoughtful, caring, generous and such a dedicated veteran and he loved his county and friends and family. Our sympathy to you all. Dick and Nellie Iverson”
