She was predeceased by: her parents, Major Royce and Dorothy Pettit of Reynolds; her husband Dr. Otto K. Van Roekel; and her brother Royce. She is survived by: her siblings, Janet Anderson and James Pettit of Edgington, IL; her children, Kermit Van Roekel (Ruth) and Vivian Van Roekel (Bernard Lanan); and her grandchildren, Royce Van Roekel (Sheena), Seth Van Roekel of Ankeny, IA and Meredith Lanan of Chicago, IL. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
