We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2021, at the age of 78, Rolland Engle of Aledo, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Engle and Lois Emerson Engle; his wife Ruth J. Clayton; and his brother Blaine. He is survived by: his sons, Scottie Engle (Michelle Crummy) of Aledo, Randy Louck (Mary) of Aledo and Rick Louck (Julie) of Clarksville, TN; and his brother Brian Engle (Mary) of Millersburg, IL.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

“Rolland was a true friend to my parents since they met in the very early 1960's. He and my dad were truckers for life. I followed that course as well. He once let me steer his Kenworth truck down the road outside of Aledo when I was 10 years old. Rolland would go out of his way to visit us on occasion no matter where we lived. He even made my moms funeral in Texas when I was not able to. My father Larry Maxwell recently passed which made me instantly think of Rolland. keep on trucking.”
