With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert M. Adolphson Jr. of Aledo, Illinois, born in Wapello, Iowa, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert M. Adolphson Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Adolphson, and Gladys Marie Adolphson, Sr. (Roberts); his wife Debra Harms; his daughter Lisa Ford; and his siblings, Howard Adolphson and Edith Wakefield.
He is survived by: his children, Michael, Karen Adolphson of Aledo, Kerry Adolphson of Alabama, Steve, Nancy Adolphson of Aledo, Cherie, Scott Mason of Orion, Mindy and Dan Hunt of Hartsburg, MO; and his siblings, Mary Ann Vandersnick, Beverly Stoner, Ione Carr and Gary Adolphson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Speer Funeral Home (2502 SE 3rd St, Aledo, IL 61231).
Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Veteran's Assistance Program or the Clarissa C. Cooke Hospice House.
