He was predeceased by: his parents, Don R. Vickrey and Helen Marie Vickrey (Rummel). He is survived by: his wife Donna Sutherland; his daughters, Amie, Alisa Vickrey of Redding, CA and Ariel Magdefrau (Josh "Zane") of Port Byron, IL; his grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia and Aiden; and his brother Edward Vickrey (Julie) of Aledo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
