With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Swanson of Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on November 16, 2020 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Swanson and Gertrude Carlson Swanson; his son Gary; and his grandson Nate Fulton. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Jean Stabler; his daughters, Debora Allen, Beckie Fulton (Steve) and Marcie Lampo (Jack); his stepgrandchildren, Rhett Allen, Noah Fulton (Nikki), Sara Wruck (Josh), Eli Lampo, Chloe Lampo, Matt Allen (Caitlin), Patrick Allen, Emily Conard (Ben), Jill Winters (John) and Jody Montalto; and his great grandchildren, Emmett Fulton, Fionna Fulton, Ellar Callenson, Olivia Conard, Elsa Conard, Calvin Conard, Kyle Montalto and Luke Montalto. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren and/or dear friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private service, led by his son-in-law, Steve Fulton, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
Memorials can be made in Ray's name to the Alexis Fire Department, Viola Fire Department or the Epilepsy Foundation.
