Nancy Sloan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2020, at the age of 81, Nancy Sloan of Aledo, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stirn and Lucille Biggy Stirn; her husband Arthur L. Sloan August; her brother Jack Stirn; her grandson Johnathan Wood; and her half-sister Kathy Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ray (Eugene) of York, Nebraska, LuAnn Burroughs (John) of Murchison, Texas, Terry Dillie (Ernie) of Joy, Tammy Wood (Rick) of Aurora, Colorado, Bill Sloan (Lisa) of Edgington and Tim Sloan (Christine) of Bossier City, Louisiana; her brothers, George Stirn (Carol) of Huntley, IL and Phillip Stirn of Texas; and her half-brother Jim Stirn of Illinois. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the Mercer County TRIAD or the Mercer County YMCA.
