We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2024, at the age of 83, Margaret Malone of Aledo, Illinois, born in Clinton, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Margaret Malone to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Troy and Mary Helen Troy (Kearney); and her husband John Malone. She is survived by: her brothers, Bill Troy of Dubuque, IA and Jack (Sue Troy); and her nieces and nephews, Anthony Troy, Elizabeth Kellen, Brent Troy, Jennifer Bowden, Jim Troy, Pat Troy, Nathan Troy, Sara Rockswold, Julie Voelker, Kathy Wickert, Sharon Kooy and Tom Wickert.

A Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Catherine's Catholic Church (106 NE 4th St, Aledo, IL 61231). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the Mercer County YMCA or the Mercer County Senior Center.
