He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Schmidt and Mardelle Schmidt (Wulf); his daughters, Sarah Dunlop (Steven) and Kristin Kadel (Jake); his grandchildren, Della, Rowan and Emery; his siblings, Grant Schmidt (Debbie), Bradley Schmidt (Lisa) and Kathleen Dean (Kevin); and his close friend Linda.
