He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edwards and Loeta Workman Edwards; and his stepmothers, Lola and Fran Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Sue Dunlap; his daughter Rebecca Wagner (Kevin) of Vermont; his grandchildren, Nic, Cheyenne and Sam; and his brothers, Rev. William Edwards (Diana) and Tim Edwards (Sue). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

James would donate and give away his excess veggies.
