We bid farewell to Glen E. Bennett of Aledo, Illinois, born in Kearney, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 10, 2024 at the age of 85. Glen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl L. Bennett and Hazel I. Bennett (Sawin); his brother Howard Bennett; and his in-laws, Rayburn and Lola Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cooper; his sons, Mike Bennett (Angie) of Aledo and Wayne (Wanda Evans) of Johnsburg, IL; his grandchildren, Courtney, Matt Carrier, Taylor, Nick Erickson, Alexa, Traci and Matthew Bennett; his great grandchild Maverick Carrier; and his sister-in-law Judi Worth. He is also survived by 8 nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
