With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Korns of Aledo, Illinois, born in Akron, Ohio, who passed away on September 17, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Hartzell Korns and Alverta Lucille Conrad Korns. He is survived by: his wife Carole Ann Olsen; his children, Donald Korns (Vickie), Amy Studer (late Tim) and Jennifer Kilcoin (Adam); his grandchildren, Jesse Korns (Melissa), Austin Korns (Mariah), Mandy Studer, Nathan Studer, Maggie Studer, Cain Kilcoin, Christian Kilcoin and Clare Kilcoin; his great grandchildren, Josiah, Gentry, Leroy, Sia and Macintyre; and his son Amnat Satarak.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mercer County Veterans Grave Marker Program, Furever Friends/Mercer County Animal Control, or the Aledo Fire Company.
