It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Newswander (Aledo, Illinois), born in Edgington, Illinois, who passed away on March 15, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Rursch and Pearl Pearson Rursch; her husband Charles W. "Charlie" Newswander; her grandson Justin; and her sister Jean Ball.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Weiss (Marvin) of Taylor Ridge, IL, Nancy Newswander of Davenport, IA, Rick Newswander (Kathy) of Aledo, IL and Gary Newswander (Diane) of Metamora, IL; and her grandchildren, Amy Weiss, Nathan Weiss, Ryan Newswander (Tiffany), Hayley Tiffin (Travis), Gina Swanson (Nick) and Gretchen Newswander. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
