He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Harris; his wife Shirley Wakeland of Aledo, Illinois; his children, Beth Petersen (Mark) of Henderson, Mike Wakeland (Darla) of Cambridge, Adam Wakeland of Atkins, Iowa and Renee Bishop (Weston) of Atkins, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kevin Petersen, Katie Petersen, Leslie Wakeland, Dakota Walker, Olivia Wakeland, Lindsay Wakeland, Ethan Wakeland, Teagan Bishop and Memphis Bishop; his stepgrandchildren, Raiff and Riley Cauwels; his great grandchild Everett "Rett" Walker; and his siblings, Mike Wakeland, Roger Wakeland, Dixie Krueger and Mary Thompson.
