With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ethel Greer (Aledo, Illinois), born in Preemption, Illinois, who passed away on August 21, 2019 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Lela Nesbitt Smith; her brother Harold; and also, Jim Stephens and Barbara Whan Stephens.
She is survived by: her nieces, Dixie Strine Krueger (Bill) of Delray Beach, Fla. and Judie Stephens Bonynge (Ronnie) of Andalusia. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-great nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Mercer County Relay for Life or the Aledo United Methodist Church.
