She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sheese and Pearl Adams Sheese; her husband George "Hump" King; and her siblings, Carolyn Sheese, Rose Seefeld, Wanda McCleary and William Carter Sheese.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lela Bieri (Dave Noyd) of Aledo and Ruth King of Moline; and her sisters, Bernice Efnor (Darrel) of Bradford, Martha King of Aledo and Diana Fullerton (Dennis) of Keithsburg.
