He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward James and Mary Jean Urban Ewers; his brother Edward Ewers; and his brother-in-law Chuck Ogdon. He is survived by: his spouse Susan L. Counce; his children, Robert "Coby" of Boyton Beach, Florida, Jonyce of Oakdale, Peggy Sue of Aledo, Randee of Hayward and Lesley (Brian) of Joy; his grandchildren, Jessie (Jessie), Mark, Katie (Travis), Joey, Sean, Anthony (Monique), Tyler Austin (Isabel), Carson, Brian, Donny and Jazmyn; and his sister Carole Ogdon of Yorba Linda.
