She was predeceased by: her parents, Byron L. Blackman and Beulah Hollis Blackman; her husband Murle Kell; and her siblings, Aliene Rader, Faye Blackman, Byron W. Blackman, Virgil W. Blackman and Virginia Greer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey Nelson (Gene) of Bryan and Jenifer Mikiska (Stuart) of St. Charles; and her sisters, Jennie Maynard and Louise Engwall of Aledo. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
