He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Elsie; his wife Katherine A. Day; and his siblings, Charlotte, Lavergne, Robert and Herbert.

He is survived by: his children, Vicki Pastryk (John), Hollie Szadowski (Russ) and Bill Slottag (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Garrett (Heather), Katrina, Nathan and August; and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Trea, Emma, Kyla, Lucas and Cole.
