She was predeceased by: her parents, August Feddersen and Cecelia Feddersen; her daughter Cathy Whiting; and her brother Lawrence "Larry" Feddersen. She is survived by: her son David Colby; her grandchildren, Sydney and Joshua Whiting; her son-in-law Brian Whiting; her sister-in-law Jolene Feddersen; her cousins, Geraldine Adriansen (Don) and Glen Grosskopf (Jennifer); her nephew Dale Feddersen (Rachel); and her niece Kristi Holthaus (Jeff). She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol's name may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church.
