He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Sr. Elliott and Helen Elliott (Hess); his wife Bessie Jones; his son Steven Jr.; and his siblings, Ken, Mike, Dallas Jr., Jerry and Sandy.

He is survived by: his stepson Tony; and his siblings, Darrell, Willie of Grayville, IL, Terry of Albion, Mary of Albion and Judy of Albion.
