She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Dowdy and Barbara Dowdy (Rushing); and her brother Ted Dowdy. She is survived by: her children, Jerrod Smith (Jami), Kendra Peddicord (Adam) and Sara Strickland (Phillip); her grandchildren, Gavin, Madisyn, Bella, Gage, Kimberlyn, Korbin and Jeanessa; and her siblings, Tonya Prosise (Tim), Pat Compton (Johnny), Tom Dowdy, Mike Dowdy (Lora) and Chris Dowdy (Tammy). She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations may be made to Davita Kidney Care of Centralia, Il or Claws and Paws Animal Rescue in Olney, II.
