He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Reid and Nellie Reid. He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Elizabeth Reid Nelson and Ellen Margaret Reid DiMarco; his wife Jean Reid; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Jennifer and Jessica Nelson.
After completing his engineering degree at Purdue University, Robert dedicated over 40 years to his career as an Engineer at Cadillac and at ITT, making significant contributions to the industry and earning respect and admiration from his peers.
