With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Laura Louise McCurdy (Albion, Illinois), born in West Salem, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Shelby and Carrie Shelby (Gaede); her spouse Glenn B. McCurdy (Mack); her siblings, Delores Carlson, Audrey Humphrey and Bill Shelby; her son-in-law Michael Latshaw; and her great grandchild Sarah Jane Hammell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Ann Latshaw of Grayville, Mary Katherine Schnitz (Gary) of Carmel and Laura Beth Copeland (Pat) of Albion; her grandchildren, Kevin, Brent, Tassy, Carrie, John, Sarah, Matthew, Brian and Megan; and her sister-in-law Wanda Shelby. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
