He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Thompson; his father-in-law Charles Kennard; and his brother-in-law Brett Kennard. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Thompson (Hamilton); his wife Kim Kennard; his children, Trent Thompson and Tori Thompson; his siblings, Craig Thompson (Stacy) and Marsha Runyon (Mark); his mother-in-law Suzie Kennard; his siblings-in-law, Dan Kennard, Denia Hedge, Nickie Osborne and Diane Kennard; and his friends, Trevor, Jackie Borowiak and Derek Moore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Social distancing practices and use of hand sanitizer will be in place.
