He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Grimes and Lucy Amelia Grimes (West); his wife Ruth Ellen Grimes (Glick); his children, David Paul Grimes (Jean) of Conway, SC, Don Carl Grimes (Becky) of Albion, Linda Suzanne Collins (Joe) of Albion, Kathie Louise Ewing of Lewisville, TX, Denise Ruth Taylor (Harold) of Magnolia, TX and Angela Faith Grimes of Lawrenceville, IL; his grandchildren, Jacquie Grimes of Conway, SC, Jenny McGillivary of Albion, Bryan Grimes (Missy) of Albion, Andy Grimes (Tanya) of Albion, Mandie Weber (Jacob), Cris Edwards (Greg) of Olney, IL, Erin Lester (Bobby) of Frisco, TX, Dr. Lora Spiller of San Antonio, TX, Kate Spiller of Albion, Arias Alex of Lawrenceville, Nick Carie of Mt. Carmel and Riley Raber (Devin) of Ft. Lewis-McChord, WA; his siblings, Daniel Grimes and Winifred Jones (Doug) of Newark, OH; his sisters-in-law, Virginia Harding of Zanesville, OH and Betty Grimes of Shepherdstown, WV.; his grandson David Allen Grimes; and his siblings, Jay Myron, Joe Loren, Thelma, Doris, Shirley and Marjorie. He was also cherished by 25 great-grandchildren.
