She was predeceased by: her parents, William Palfreeman and Addie Palfreeman (Willis); her brother Radean Palfreeman; and her sister-in-law Billie Palfreeman. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Sams; her daughter Patricia Powell (Charles); her grandsons, Kevan Schmittler (Stephanie) and Roger Schmittler (Alicia); and her great grandchildren, Sophia Schmittler, Mason Schmittler, Roger Dale Schmittler, Alexis Schmittler, Danny Schmittler, Patrick Schmittler, Sara Schmittler and Trajon Shelton.
